Today while working online, one headline on Yahoo definitely grabbed my attention. It said that hip hop legend, Jay-Z had earned a fortune of up to $450 million in the past decade! WOW! Forbes writer, Zack O'Malley Greenburg has written a new book about Jay-Z entitled "Empire State of Mind: How Jay-Z Went from Street Corner to Corner Office" in which he talks about Jay-Z's many business successes and failures. Even though much of the hip hop legend's fortune comes from touring, Jay-Z also profits from businesses involving fashion, restaurants, nightclubs, sneakers, and let's not forget, the New Jersey Nets! According to Greenburg, Jay-Z earned a
whopping $63 million in 2010, more than most CEOs of public companies!
