Hey! Have you heard about the Baltimore Music Awards? According to the official press release, the BMA was created to recognize individuals who have significantly contributed to the growth & development of entertainment in Baltimore. Diamond K of "The Diamond K Show", is the founder and event coordinator. Each year, 13 awards will be presented to the brightest stars in the local music industry who have been nominated and voted for in each category, for the 1st time by artists and fans alike! Plus, in addition to the 13 voted categories, 1 deserving person will be selected for induction into the BMA Hall of Fame! Kudos to Diamond K! I really like the idea and can't wait to see how the artistic community responds in lieu of all the drama and controversy oftentimes associated with the DMV Awards and the Baltimore Crown in the past! Let's keep our fingers crossed that this one will be different!
