For me, one of the most interesting and modern trends in women's footwear for fall 2013 is the sandal boot. Part sandal and part boot, sandal boots were introduced on the runway for the spring/summer 2013 season and are transitioning to fall in over the knee, to the knee, and bootie styles, with a few changes in designs and a little controversy. You see, the sandal boots open-toed design is causing some fashionistas to question their inclusion in fall collections! Their concerns? Their warmth in cold weather! So, if you're like me and love them, don't worry! Some sandal boot designers have already suggested that they be worn
with thick tights or socks when that time comes.
