Mullyman's "Electric Chair" (In Honor of Troy Davis)

Many of us just recently became aware of the case of Troy Davis, a man convicted of killing
off-duty police officer, Mark MacPhail, in 1989, for which he was sentenced to death. What made this case so compelling was that for years not only did Troy Davis repeatedly proclaim his innocence, but for many other reasons, such as the recanted testimony of 7 of 9 witnesses in this case, cast too much doubt as to whether an innocent man was going to be executed. Amid widespread public
doubts about his guilt, peaceful protests, and petition signing by thousands,
Davis' appeal for a last-minute stay of execution was denied by the U.S. Supreme
Court and on Wednesday, September 21, 2011, he was executed.

To say the least, this case has brought about a huge amount of attention to an issue that definitely needs to be addressed and has motivated many of us to express our views. One such person is Baltimore native, hip hop artist, Mullyman. Check out his new video entitled, "Electric Chair" (In Honor of Troy Davis) which I happened to come across this morning on the site "DC Mumbo Sauce".
