Rap legend and Wu-Tang Clan co-founder, GZA has teamed up with the director of secondary school initiatives at the Urban Science Education Center in New York City, and urban education expert, Dr. Christopher Emdin, along with the rap lyrics website, Rap Genius, to launch a special project that teaches science through the art of hip hop called "Science Genius Battles". Currently in ten New York City schools, students write raps about science subjects for a chance to win a private tour of the Rose Center for Earth and Space in New York City and have their rhyme posted on Rap Genius.
