Spring 2014 Trend Alert: The Fringe Binge

Hey, ladies! Have you heard the news? Fringe is back for spring 2014 with a very modern and super cool look, and I'm loving it! Fringe embellishments were seen on everything from jackets and trench coats to handbags and super funky footwear in its return to the runway in spring collections for 2014 from designers like Derek Lam, Marc Jacobs, Joseph Altuzarra, and Junya Watanabe. Junya Watanabe's spring 2014 collection, which is one of my favorites, took fringe to a whole different level of funkiness with his use of tons of fringe on dope asymmetrical jersey tops, tiered dresses, maxi skirts, biker jackets, midi-length coats, and those super funky fringe-hemmed boyfriend jeans that I want sooooo baddddd! So, ladies, believe me! There's going to be a whole lot of fringing going on this spring and you need to get in on it! S/S Trends 2014: Iridescence = Bling Bling for Spring!

This spring and summer, Fashionistas, tell em to break out the sunglasses cause we're going to be shining! Iridescent is a major trend for the spring/summer 2014 season, and like many of you I'm lovin' it. Designers like Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Christopher Kane, Lanvin, and others sent models in iridescent clothing, footwear, and accessories down the runway in their spring/summer 2014 collections. Iridescent pieces are available online and in select retail stores in urban, street wear and casual styles, as well as, evening looks. With so much to choose from, taking this dope trend from the runway to your closet to amp up your spring/summer wardrobe should be a breeze! Here are some images to help you get inspired!
